Pha's Thai is our favourite place to go. It is an unexpected surprise in a small town.We always take our friends and family there when they stay with us and every single one of them has been so impressed, even the fussy ones.The atmosphere is perfect and rich in local history.The food is amazing, always fresh and the service excellent. It is especially nice when Steve comes over for a chat or recommends a new dish.You can't go wrong with anything you order at Pha's Thai and you can sense the pride and love every dish is made with.Our favourites are the fish cakes, curry puffs and yellow curry. We think it is great value and always a fabulous night out.

Food here is fantastic every time. Good size meals. Beers are expensive, but there is a good selection of drinks. Atmosphere is nice, but wish it was a bit more cosy and less of a food court feel. The mainly open room with mainly hard furnishings makes for a noisy and loud dining experience. A waiter did forget to bring a drink, but this was promptly rectified. 9/10 overall!

A spectacular Thai dining experience in an unexpected location. The food is authentic, delicious, and the servings are more than generous. Highlights were the soft shell crab and the incredible deconstructed Thai iced tea dessert. A gorgeous location and incredible food.

First time but definitely not the last visit of this wonderful restaurant with friends who visit often and were celebrating a birthday . The atmosphere was light and relaxed, the food was great with everything that we ordered had amazing taste with freshness that we could not describe. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the suggestions of wine and knowledgeable on the scotch that was available. Highly recommend

Me and my wife came here for a birthday dinner.We were over the moon with the service, atmosphere and quality of the food.We were concerned at first regarding the spice level of the meals we wished to eat (laksa and Phat phrik khing), but our waiter advised us that we were able to adjust the spice level!Overall there is nothing bad I can say about the place, if you are ever in Cooma please make sure you stop here to enjoy authentic thai cuisine.

I organised a surprise 60th for my partner, we travelled from the Bega Valley and met friends from Canberra. The food was probably the best Thai my partner and i have eaten for a long time . Our guests commented that the food was excellent as well , the staff were great and were attentive as needed. My partner and i will definitely visit again .

A must try in Cooma if you like Thai Cuisine. The staff was friendly and accommodating, food was fantastic with fresh ingredients and with the perfect balance of spices. Great ambience with a fireplace to keep you warm while you wait. Highly recommended.

The food is always 10/10!The service is some of the most accomodating and inviting I’ve seen in the mountains. Dietary needs are taken seriously and actually still provided with really good food! Even for the toughest of critics ( 1 year olds )Could eat here every night.The bar is also 10/10 cocktails galore and attention to detail in mocktails too!

We were visiting Cooma from the South Coast and Pha’s was recommended to us. Wow! It didn’t disappoint ⭐️ We love Thai and have eaten at many restaurants all over NSW. Pha’s is right up there with the best. From the relaxed atmosphere to the happy, super friendly staff, our dining experience was amazing. The food was super fresh and delicious and we can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. We will be back in our travels. Well done Pha 😍

From the moment you lay eyes on this place it looks like a classy restaurant. The building is stunning both inside and out!Once seated, the drinks list is tight but exciting, the menu is mouthwatering and the aromas of Thai food are incredible.The fish cakes are to die for. The crying tiger is just that with a powerful chilli punch. The pad see ew was divine. All in all the food was brilliant.Will be back again! Ever thought of opening in Parramatta?

Wow, if you are in Cooma and like Thai, Pha's is amazing.Set in a beautifully renovated building the atmosphere and service is great.But, the food is delicious and can be cooked to your spiciness preference. I love very spicy and my meal ticked that box.Generous portions so we had some for snacks the next day!Well done guys, an amazing meal.

Great food and atmosphere. We had a large group so only issue was it took awhile to get our first drinks order...other than that no complaints and loved that they were able to split the bill for such a large group.

The food and atmosphere were excellent. The only problem was that they lost half our order - and this would not have been discovered had we not asked almost an hour in. However, the staff were very apologetic and ensured we got our food shortly after.

I did expect a-lot from this restaurant. But a bit upset about the food cause where ever i go the Thai restaurant food were almost the best. We ordered octopus it was dry and the fried noodles were too much sauce on it and the fried rice wasn’t seasoned properly. Curry puff was good. Pork skewers upset a-lot because it was too dry. Talking about the service and atmosphere were good.

This used to be our favourite restaurant whenever we are in the area. But we had a really bad experience this time around.We reached there at 6pm (reservation) and placed our order around 6:10.The appetisers and drinks came in a relatively timely manner, and then we kept waiting till around 7:20 for our main courses to be served!Not sure if it was a problem with the waitress or with the kitchen. We'd like to think it was the former! At around 7pm we asked our waitress about our main courses, she said they'll be ready in 5-10 minutes. She didn't check with the kitchen (we were seated close to the kitchen and we were sure she didn't check with them).At 7:15 we complained again, after seeing all the surrounding tables being served their main courses even though they came after us!The manager then came and told us they usually prepare the courses in the sequence the orders were placed. Then we told him that we've been waiting for over an hour. He was clearly surprised!After probably 5 minutes, our courses were served, with the waitress commenting while serving the first dish "it's coming it's coming" in an angry/sarcastic way.But some of the beef was undercooked, probably because they rushed it in order not to delay it anymore.We didn't say anything because at that point, we were extremely tired and fed-up.After being "regular" customers, this will be our last time going there.

Terrible service me and my girlfriend walked in at 8:25 pm and ask for table for 2 and ask nicely if it’s still open and young man said no and I ask not even T/A ? And he said No and it’s not even 8:30 and the restaurant shut at 9 so I hope next time maybe close at 8 o clock.

Excellent friendly service - the wait staff were happy, helpful and very efficient. We received our first dish about 5 minutes after ordering (we shared 2 mains). The food was delicious and the medium spice was perfect (we like it quite spicy.) The restaurant was clean and nicely decked out. We'll be back for sure.

I love Pha’s, the food is great.
However the service I received today was poor, tried to call them @2:15pm only for there phone to ring through to voicemail 3 times. I thought to myself they must be busy, considering there phone message states they are open till 2:30pm (tue-sat). Drove downtown, parked out the front. There lunch sign is still out, go upstairs door is locked. Young girl comes to the door and states we have just closed, and that we usually close at 2pm on saturdays. I suggested that maybe you remove the lunch sign and change your voicemail message, if this is the case. Whilst I understand it is late to call for lunch at this time, sometimes life happens and you eat on the run, but to claim your open when you clearly are not is misleading and frustrating.
